A RIGID DUMP TRUCK is a powered off-highway haulage truck with a rigid frame equipped with a tipping load carriage designed to haul and dump material.

According to legislation, it is the employers responsibility to ensure mobile plant operators have been properly trained in the safe use of the particular machine. A drivers licence endorsement is not sufficient!

After successful completion of our course, participants will:

• Understand their legal responsibilities and duties

• Understand the design dynamics and limitations of a dumper

• Know the procedures for the safe operation of a dumper

• Know the required pre-start checks

• Know the common hazards and accidents associated with dumpers

• Receive a digital certificate as proof of test completed

One day course includes classroom based theory session followed by practical basic training and assessment.

Suitable for operators that have never completed a formal training course or if certificate is expired more than 3 months.
